In The Pouring Rain, This Adorable Dog Saved And Adopted An Abandoned Kitten

Many people believe that dogs and cats are born to dislike one another, but the truth may be very different. In reality, they can get along swimmingly, and their connection can be genuine and loving, just like any other friendship. They might be each other’s guardian angels as well as pals. Meet Hazel, a dog with a golden heart who saved a stray kitten in the rain and returned her safely to her owner.

Since she was a few weeks old, the Yorkie-chihuahua-poodle mix has lived with her mother Monica in Abilene, Texas for over three years. Hazel got out of her house on a stormy day to go pee-pee for a bit. Monica did not accompany her dog due to the torrential rain. She knew it wouldn’t be a problem for Hazel because the loving puppy was usually on time. Monica felt confident at first, but as time passed, she became anxious. Finally, just as Monica was about to leave the house to seek for her baby, Hazel reappeared in her field of vision. She wasn’t, however, alone. She recently brought home an unexpected surprise — a tiny small cat.

The soaked dog appeared to be quite tolerant with her new acquaintance. Hazel took her time walking and frequently looked around to make sure the tiny cat wasn’t trailing behind. Meanwhile, behind Hazel, the kitten wandered clumsily in the rain, seeming a little timid.

Together, they made it to Hazel’s residence. When the cat couldn’t go up the stair to enter the home, Hazel helped the kitten up herself.

Monica took care of the cat despite her astonishment. Hazel’s brave gesture touched her heart as well. Monica’s brother, Michael, was later given the kitten. Sheba was the lucky cat’s name. Sheba fit right in with her new family, and Hazel and Sheba will undoubtedly have lots of opportunities to have fun together in the future!
