He Breaks Into A Family’s Pool And Leaves Them With 100 Kg Of Feces As A Gift

Nobody hates a pool dip to relieve tension and re-energize, and it appears that this hippo understood this concept well, as he opted to cool down in Brent Reed’s family pool after searching for the ideal spot.

On New Year’s Eve, Brent Reed, 47, the director of a safari firm, was astonished to see one of Africa’s most dangerous beasts in his pool.

Brent had no idea that a three-ton hippo would pay him a surprise visit in the early hours of December 31 in the backyard of his house in Maun, Botswana.

The filmmaker shared images of his youngest kid, Troy, 11, and his buddy, Kyle Steyn, 15, standing in front of the massive visitor.

“Because our house is directly next to the river bed and there was a drought for much of the year and the Thamalakane River dried up, our pool was probably the most pleasant spot to cool off,” Brent explained.

And it’s that this “amazing” animal buddy not only refreshed himself in the pool’s clean, fresh water, but also gave them a “amazing” New Year’s present.

This hippopotamus took his time enjoying a pool day without seeking anyone’s permission, and before exiting the pool to go on his way, he dumped 100 kg of dung into the pool.

After the animal went on January 1, Brent and his family were forced to fish for dung in the six-foot pool.

The hippo not only ruined this family’s plans to spend New Year’s Eve in the pool, but he also washed, slept, rejuvenated, and littered the water with an unwelcome treat.

Despite the fact that hippos may be aggressive when trapped, this enormous animal showed no symptoms of discomfort or dissatisfaction.

Hippos have huge jaws with lethal ferocity that can crush crocodiles, and despite their size, they can attain speeds of over 20 mph on land, although they can feel intimidated in the water.

Despite the presence of Brent and his family, this hippo remained peaceful.
