Mama Sheep Gets Loose And Ends Up Giving Birth To A Geep

I didn’t know what a geep was until I saw this video. Meet Butterfly. She’s a geep that lives at a petting zoo in Arizona. Her mother is a sheep and her dad is a goat and her human family were surprised when she arrived! Butterfly shares traits from both her parents; she’s got the feet and face of a goat, but the wooly coat of sheep.

Goat-sheep hybrids are pretty rare and Butterfly is thought to be the only one of her kind in Arizona. One thing is for sure, she’s super cute!
