Pat Pollifrone, a musician from the American band Miller Holler, was another witness to the incident, as he ran into the deer with his dog Zoey, who was laying on the patio floor.

Seeing the animal essentially motionless and knowing that non-domestic animals must remain in their natural habitat, he carefully transported it to a location in the forest and put it there. The unfortunate doe, on the other hand, remained still. Despite Pat’s best efforts, the small child remained motionless.

The musician grabbed a sip of water from his rucksack and offered it to the ailing little animal. Hundreds of tick bites had left him with many subcutaneous wounds, which Pollifrone was able to treat.

At that same time, the kind and helpful Zoey arrived to assist her guardian. Pat waited for her mother to return or for someone to arrive to aid the ill fawn, and she tried her best to love and cuddle the ailing fawn and keep her quiet.

The canine stayed awake and awaiting, showering her with kisses and cuddling protectively and closely to every movement, and did not split for a second from the fallen creature.

Later, Pollifrone christened her Bambi and captured the entire experience in a touching video that has been viewed by hundreds of people on the Internet.

Although her care was not that of a professional, it can be seen in the photographs that Zoey was helping to keep Bambi quiet, while both of them hoped that the mother deer would show up to retrieve her daughter.
