Woman Is The Best Friend Of A Huge Bull That She Rescued As A Small Calf

After saving a big bull as a young calf, a woman became best friends with him, and the two now share and enjoy their lives like any pair of best friends would.

Heidi Ross knew she had to assist the small calf when she saw him face down in a dung mound, unable to breathe. Heidi’s heart was touched by the poor calf, and she knew she had to do everything she could to save it.

The young woman was working on a farm at the time and had to ask the management to let her buy the calf rather than have it slaughtered.

Because the calf, now known as Thor, was born nearly a month early, he couldn’t stand or walk on his own, complicating his life. Heidi, who lives in the Scottish Highlands, was unconcerned about Thor’s health since the most important thing to her was being able to save him.

He has been caring for Thor since that day, and despite the fact that he has grown into a massive 1,500-pound bull, he is still his adoring pet.

Thor and Heidi have formed a virtually unbreakable and wonderful relationship despite their vast physical and behavioral differences. Thor lays down and rolls over like a dog for Heidi to tickle his stomach even as she touches him.

Heidi explained to METRO:

“Taking on Thor has been a significant choice for me; I’ve never worked with large animals before, and the biggest animal I’ve ever owned was a guinea pig, so meeting him has been a fantastic experience.”

The young lady claims that she has had to work hard to gain confidence in herself; while he would never injure her, she may inadvertently damage her. Thor isn’t violent, but his size causes him to miss the fact that some of his actions might harm his companion, even when he offers compassion.

Heidi continued, ”

“It hurts a lot when I strike him in the head unintentionally.”

Thor, on the other hand, has become her unwavering support and is capable of cheering her up when she is having a rough day. Thor, like any pet, enjoys human interaction, to the point where Heidi may lie on him and it appears like she adores him.

Heidi made the following observation:

“I believe that if given the chance, any animal would demonstrate that all species are sentient, that they have thoughts and emotions, just like domestic animals.”

She claims she would not have believed it three years ago if someone had asked or told her she would be caring for a massive bull.

However, she no longer minds being covered in dirt, having straw in her hair, or spending her Sundays cleaning the barn.

Heidi stated,

“We’ve arrived, and I wouldn’t swap it for anything.”
