Dog With A Sad Past Is Now Very Happy To Have A Second Chance

Corks is a happy puppy who spreads happiness to everyone around him, so it’s tough to believe he’s been through some bad times in the past. Corks’ present happy existence is because to a rescue organization that, along with a group of other caring individuals, chose to give him a second shot.

He was discovered walking the streets late last year with major damage to his paws. He may have been hit by a car, according to the vets.

Corks was dressed and transferred to a shelter, but although his physical wounds were healing, his mental scars were becoming apparent, and his days there were numbered.

Before they could put him down, the rescue group Dogs Without Borders spared his life.

The personnel of the organization wrote:

“In the shelter, he was ready to be euthanized. He had lost all faith in people ».

Corks’ health began to improve over time, but he required more time to regain his confidence in social situations.

Fortunately, the puppy found a foster home with Brooke Wilson a few months later, who had heard his story and couldn’t help but help him by taking part in this second chance that life had given him.

When Corks arrived at Wilson’s home, she could see he wasn’t used to being treated with care.

According to Wilson, who spoke to The Dodo,

“He snarled at me, my housemates, and almost everyone he encountered in the first week.” He took a long time to trust.”

Things began to improve for Corks gradually and with a lot of affection, and the unhappy little dog began to restore his faith in people.

He wouldn’t allow anybody touch him at first, but he’s grown to accept hugs, kisses, and even living with other dogs. This cute doggie is now quite content.
