Bears may appear to be fearsome creatures, yet there are nations where these specimens are grown under the care of people, who form lovely connections with one another that emanate unconditional love and camaraderie.

This type of fairy tale appears to be a reality in Russia. And if you don’t believe me, ask Veronika Dichka, a young woman who has swept social media with serene photos of her fishing in the presence of an adopted bear in the midst of a lake in Novosibirsk, Siberia.

Archie, the fuzzy baptized with the amusing name, is never far from Veronika’s side, following her around everywhere she goes.

His favorite hobby, though, is going fishing with his adoring human mother on a boat.

Of course, it’s worth noting that the scenarios between bear and human in this and earlier cases don’t take place in major towns, but rather in remote locations such as Siberia.

This might be explained by the vast distances between Russian towns and locations like Novosibirsk, where cooperation with wild animals appears to be possible. The reality is that it is a wonderful and unique pet.

But how did Archie and Veronica meet in the first place? When the local zoo where the bear was kept went bankrupt owing to the coronavirus outbreak, it turned out the bear was just a baby.

Archie’s house was about to be taken away due to the animal sanctuary’s impending closure. When Veronika heard the news, she hurried straight to the zoo and asked if she could adopt him. Yes, and the woman had no qualms about bringing it home with her.
