A Man Arrives At The Last Minute To Save An Injured Fox From Euthanasia And Adopts It

Foxes are undoubtedly one of those wild animals that, although being powerful and stunning owing to their silky coats, can make people feel uneasy.

But they should be revered and cherished to the latter end, just like all other creatures, especially if they are in grave danger. And luckily, when that occurs, there are professionals and specialized facilities committed to your rescue and recuperation.

That is how The Fox Project learnt about a poor, severely injured young fox who was on the side of the road in Tunbridge Wells, England, battling for his life. Volunteers came and took him to the veterinarian immediately away.

Sadly, they understood that the small animal would never be able to survive on his own in nature, and although his condition was not life-threatening, at that point the only thought that entered his mind was euthanasia.

However, it had previously been said that this young fox was not just any young fox. As chance would have it, Mike Trowler, a kind-hearted guy, intervened to save the young fox at the last minute and volunteered to take him into his house and adopt him.

The upshot was that the small creature almost completely lost its fox character and turned into the nice man’s most spoilt and pampered pet.

Cropper enjoyed having his belly scratched, eating and drinking from dog dishes, and even got along with Mike’s cats. So much so that if Cropper didn’t look like a fox, you may mistake him for a dog!

Their tight relationship demonstrated that friendship and love are universal. Even though Cropper was a fox, he and Trowler were now the closest of friends.

While acknowledging that foxes are frequently portrayed as villains in films, he added that the link he had with Cropper was more than unbreakable, despite the criticism he received from his friends.
