This Cat Was Hit By A Car And Everyone Thought He Was Dead, But He Escaped From His Grave

When Bart, the cat, was struck by a car when he was just a year and a half old, it appeared as though he had already passed away. Those who attempted to aid Bart believed that he had not survived the dramatic tragedy, so they buried him.

However, the cat was discovered alive in a neighbor’s backyard five days later. It was extremely astonishing that he was still alive.

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay (HSTB) stated on its page that the animal had “dug himself out of the grave and slowly made his way back home, albeit weak, dehydrated, and in need of medical attention.”

When Bart came back, he was in dire need of medical attention and was sent to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, where he started receiving the necessary treatments. He had a shattered jaw, open sores on his face, and an eye that could not be salvaged.

The health center was looking into Bart’s background while he was getting well in order to learn more about his family and the circumstances surrounding his burial.

Everyone was shocked to discover that Bart was making quick progress and taking his first bites days after he began his rehabilitation procedure.

After a week, Bart woke up to meow at the personnel at the health center, his hunger started to improve, and everyone was really delighted of his progress.

Without a doubt, Bart’s immense desire to live contributed much to his recovery since he was always quite meticulous about taking his prescriptions.

When we went to see him, he was tidying up, meowing, and petting at us, according to HSTB.

Bart spent a few days relaxing in the sun and taking advantage of the company, care, and attention of the HSTB volunteers and staff before starting to use his litter box without any issues a few weeks later.
