Caged Gog Found Floating In Frozen Lake
Bryant Fritz came upon a dog stuck in a tree limb floating in Lake Kaufman near Chicago, Illinois (USA). Bryant noticed the confined dog after hearing moaning.
He stated:
“I set down my fishing rods and tackle box and turned to look around, but no one was in view. I knew she spotted me, and I didn’t want to abandon her waiting or in need of assistance. I thus removed three sweaters and my pants before entering. The water was over my waist and I’m 6’5”.
Bryant stated the dog had “missing hair everywhere” after seeing “blood on the pavement” after coming out of the water with the dog and cage.
Bryant declared:
He was covered with sores, and the flesh on his legs was missing.
According to Susan Hillard on GoFundMe, the man carried the puppy to his truck and went “so quickly” he hardly remembers it.
The dog, which they named “Dory,” couldn’t stand and was shaking a lot when Bryant got home, so he wrapped her in a dry wool blanket and took her to the University of Illinois Veterinary Clinic. Bryant told the staff there that if the dog survived, he wanted to provide her with a loving home, according to CNN.
Bryant declared:
“Two hours later, I called, expecting the worst, but he was OK. Her body temperature was so low that at first I didn’t even notice it. Her cage was coated with dried excrement that had been in the water for hours and was impossible to remove. People ought to be aware of this, in my opinion. Before being tossed into the lake, she was in a lot of agony.”
